Often we have no idea what it is we need to learn, or even why we are here, but we all have the opportunity to experience what life has to offer as a third-dimensional being on a third-dimensional planet. I believe Earth provides us with the opportunity to learn as much as we are willing from our special and unique experiences. No matter how painful or painless my life has been (and I have yet to experience absolute painless) I feel it has all been worth it. Happily those who guide me take joy in my sometime successes, especially when I finally understand fully something they've been patiently dangling in front of my face for some time.
It was one of these dangling ‘carrots' that inspired me some twenty years ago to begin writing fiction with a spiritual twist. Bunt then came a period in l996 when I was asked to be a channel once more; something I hadn't been asked to do for many years. The messages that came through from July-December, l996 still seem very relevant today, and for that reason I have collated them into a book entitled: 'How Love Works'.
More recently I have started to write stories about the life beyond the one we live on Earth: the afterlife, the hereafter, heaven - call it what you will. These stories are written as fictional tales in the hope that they will reach a wider audience. 'Ben and the Celestial Ambulance' is still a work in progress. It is written in a light-hearted way because heaven is, after all, a happy place to be. Ben was an ambulance man in the 1960s, and to those concerned with his employment in the afterlife it seems perfectly reasonable to suggest he continue in this line of work. Though familiar to him in earthly terms, Ben's finds his new work presents a very different slant on how you can help people when you are a disembodied spirit and your patients are not. Originally intended as a children's book, the subject eventually broadened out to include stories that I was told might not be easily understood by children. So, guided by this it is hoped it will be for a general audience. To complete this book is my next and most urgent project, so please keep watching this space for news of publication.
